Crank It Cycling have announced its 2023 events- they cater for all riders from beginners to elites! A Crank It race is the perfect starting point in the world of Cross Country Racing.
The classic Cross Country racing venue of Sherwood Pines kicks the season off with a reasonably flat course to ease us back into racing after the off-season. Sherwood Pines is an excellent venue for the beginner as it is one of the least technical courses of the series. Round 2 sees us back down South at Twisted Oaks near Ipswich. Lee Quarry sees the first weekend-long event with coaching on Saturday morning & the Gravel X Challenge in the afternoon. After a few years of no racing, it’s great to see Hadleigh Park’s 2012 Olympic course back on the calendar! Expect features around every corner for the experienced racer but there will also be an easier route around the famous Olympic features. Leeds Urban Bike park will see another weekend-long event with something for the whole family! It will kick off with the Club Coaching in the morning & then the Gravel X event in the afternoon. The Sunday will see the XCO races take place, Why not make a weekend of it? Rother Valley Country Park will see the final Crank It Weekender event for 2023. The final round will take place at Doddington Hall on the great flowing course!
