UCI MTB World Cup Venue Information
Here’s what to expect from each venue this year!
Round 1 – Mairiporã
Mairiporã will host round 1 of the 2024 WHOOP UCI MTB World Cup, having hosted the MTB Festival in Mairiporã for the past few years the course has seen lots of racing before. The course looks like a fast open one with lots of passing opportunities. We will see the Elite XCC take place on Saturday for the first time at this round leaving an even shorter recovery period for the rider.
Round 2 – Araxá
Araxá has been on the CIMTB circuit in the past and has a similar course as Round 1 in Mairiporã, expect some close and fast racing on the course! This round will attract lots of Brazilian spectators wanting to watch the world’s best battle!
Round 3 – Nové Město na Moravě
A rider favourite and the first European round of this year’s series, Nové Město na Moravě always provides a great course with its many technical sections riders & fans love! The Czech fans will be out in force for this one!
Round 4 – Val di Sole
In June we see Round 4 head to Val di Sole in Italy. The course in Val di Sole is one of the most technical courses of the year, its many rock sections & tough climbs provide great close racing with lots at stake due to the possibility of punctures & crashes! The Elite XCC races will take place on Friday for the first time this season as it’s a dual header with DH taking place.
Round 5 – Crans Montana
Another new venue for this year is Crans Montana in Valais, Switzerland, we saw the course in action for the 2023 Swiss XCC/XCO Championships & is a great course (Join Vital Albin on a full lap here).
Round 6 – Les Gets
Les Gets will host the 6th round of this year’s World Cup, the very popular resort hosts the XCC on Friday & XCO races on Sunday. Les Gets always sees many fans on the trackside with one of the biggest crowds of the year!
Round 7 – Lake Placid
Lake Placid, New York is the 3rd new venue of the 2024 World Cup season, this
Round 8 – Mont Saint Anne
Mont Saint Anne is one of the longest running venues of the UCI MTB World Cup, it’s very technical course both up and down is very demanding on riders espially in October when the weather could be very wet like last year! Who will be crowned the 2024 WHOOP UCI MTB World Cup overall winners?
