The G.O.A.T of Mountain Bike Cross Country will not race Round 6 of the WHOOP UCI MTB World Cup this weekend in Les Gets.
Nino is choosing to prioritise training ahead of the Olympics later this month, he is currently undertaking a high altitude training block. It’s not common to see Nino Schurter miss a World Cup round but due to the close proximity to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games it’s probably a wise move.
